Meet the sweetest senior pup, Tucker!
This gentle 7-year-old Miniature Pinscher joined us earlier this month after his previous owners surrendered him due to changes in their lifestyle. During his intake exam, our team noticed a concerning issue with one of Tucker's front limbs and began investigating further.
After additional examination, our medical team determined that Tucker had a luxated elbow, meaning the joint was severely misaligned and causing him significant discomfort. Unfortunately, there were very limited options to repair the damage, and our veterinarians decided that amputation would give Tucker the best quality of life moving forward.
After a few weeks of recovery, Tucker was already feeling much better and getting around more comfortably!
Tucker is an incredibly sweet and gentle pup who loves cuddles, pets, and spending time with people. While he is still adjusting to life as a tripod, he still enjoys going on walks and soaking up affection. He's sure to make the perfect cuddle buddy and loyal companion.
