About ARSIS

The organization's official name is ARSIS (Organizatë shoqërore e përkrahjes së të rinjve) — in English, ARSIS — Social Organization for the Support of Youth. It is registered in Albania under Tax Identification Number K91629452G.

Our purpose is to support children and young people, promote their rights, prevent marginalization and encourage social inclusion, personal development and active participation in community life.

We see young people as people with rights, ideas and strengths — not as problems to be solved. Support starts by listening, respecting each person's dignity and working alongside families, schools and local institutions.

• Rights-based: every activity begins from children's rights.
• Inclusive: no child should be excluded because of background, ability or circumstance.
• Participatory: young people help shape what concerns them.
• Community-rooted: support is strongest when it is shared locally.

The organization's work is guided by the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child: non-discrimination, the best interests of the child, the right to life and development, and the right to be heard.
