Children's rights
Every child has the right to protection, education, health, play and to express their views. We treat these rights not as ideals but as the practical basis for all work with children.
Youth participation
Young people should take part in decisions that affect their lives. Participation builds confidence and makes support more relevant and lasting.
Protection and dignity
Children's safety comes first. All contact with children must respect their dignity, privacy and wellbeing.
Equality and inclusion
We work against discrimination in all forms and seek to reach children and families who are most at risk of exclusion.
Accountability
We aim to be open about who we are, how we are governed and how we work, and to welcome feedback and concerns.
